Refund policy

At Stitch Stories, every product undergoes stringent quality checks before it is carefully packed and dispatched. We are committed to delivering pieces that meet our highest standards of craftsmanship and finish.

If something isn’t right, we’re here to assist you in accordance with the policy below.


1. QUALITY ASSURANCE

All Stitch Stories products go through multiple quality inspections before shipping.

If you receive a defective or incorrect product, please notify us within 3 days of delivery by sharing:

  • Your Order Number

  • Clear images of the issue

Upon verification, we will be happy to offer:

  • A new replacement product (regular-priced items only), or

  • A size exchange (subject to availability), or

  • A credit note

Requests raised after 3 days for defective products may not be accepted.


2. RETURN & EXCHANGE WINDOW (Regular-Priced Products)

You may request a return or exchange within 14 days of receiving your order, subject to the following conditions:

Eligible products must be:

  • Unworn

  • Unwashed

  • Unaltered

  • With original tags attached

  • Returned in original packaging

Requests raised after 14 days from delivery will not be accepted.

Stitch Stories reserves the right to reject products that fail quality inspection.


3. DISCOUNTED / SALE PRODUCTS POLICY

All discounted or sale merchandise is non-returnable.

In case of:

  • A manufacturing defect, or

  • An incorrect product received

You must notify us within 3 days of delivery.

For discounted products, we offer:

  • Size exchange (subject to availability), or

  • Credit note

The request window for discounted merchandise is strictly 7 days from delivery.


4. EXCHANGE POLICY

We offer exchanges for:

  • Size change

  • Style change (regular-priced products only)

  • Product of equal or higher value

If exchanging for a higher value item, the price difference must be paid before dispatch.

If exchanging for a lower value item, the balance amount will be issued as a credit note valid for 30 days from the date of issuance.

Exchange Conditions:

  • First exchange: Complimentary reverse pickup (within serviceable areas)

  • Any additional exchange shall be charged at ₹300 per exchange

Original shipping and COD charges are non-refundable.


5. REFUND POLICY

We generally do not offer refunds. However, the refunds may be processed only in the following cases, subject to approval by the management:

  • Verified defective product

  • Incorrect item shipped

Refunds will be processed strictly to the original mode of payment. In case of a COD order, you will be required to share your bank account details with us.

Refund processing timeline:
7–10 business days after the product passes the quality inspection.

Shipping and COD charges are non-refundable.


6. CUSTOMIZED & MADE-TO-ORDER PRODUCTS

The following are non-returnable and non-exchangeable:

  • Customized sizes

  • Length or fitting alterations

  • Made-to-order pieces

The price of a customized product shall be 15% above the original MRP, and no discounts or promotional offers shall be applicable on customized products.

All customized orders must be prepaid and cannot be placed via Cash on Delivery.

Stitch Stories shall not be responsible for fit issues arising from incorrect measurements provided by the customer.


7. INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

International orders are not eligible for return or exchange.

Shipping, customs duties, and taxes are non-refundable. Approved returns (if any, at company discretion) must be self-shipped by the customer.


8. HOW TO REQUEST A RETURN / EXCHANGE

  1. Contact us within the applicable return window.

  2. Share your Order Number.

  3. Mention the reason for return/exchange.

  4. Share images (if defective/damaged, if applicable).

  5. Our team will confirm eligibility and guide you through the next steps.

All returned products undergo a quality inspection before approval.

Stitch Stories reserves the right to reject any return that does not comply with the above terms.
